Mom Of Slain Benghazi Ambassador Makes Blistering Demand Of Donald Trump – Trump HUMILIATED

If you want to see a Republican foam at the mouth, you need only say one word: Benghazi. Four years after the tragic murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, right wingers continue to assert that the entire thing was the fault of President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump is also fond of using Benghazi as a way to try and indict Clinton, even though every investigation has cleared her on the matter.

But now the mother of Ambassador Stevens is stepping forward to tell Donald Trump she never wants to hear her son’s name in Trump’s mouth ever again.

In a letter to the editor of the New York Times, Mary Commanday wrote:

As Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens’s mother, I am writing to object to any mention of his name and death in Benghazi, Libya, by Donald Trump’s campaign and the Republican Party.

I know for certain that Chris would not have wanted his name or memory used in that connection. I hope that there will be an immediate and permanent stop to this opportunistic and cynical use by the campaign.

This letter is in addition to what Anne Stevens, the sister of Ambassador Stevens recently told “The New Yorker:”

“I do not blame Hillary Clinton or [Former Secretary of Defense] Leon Panetta. They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world. And their staffs were doing their best to provide what they could with the resources they had.

“With the many issues in the current election, to use that incident—and to use Chris’s death as a political point—is not appropriate.”
